The team
Village Vet Hampstead is a 24-hour hospital accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, supporting the wider North London area. Our hospital operates as an emergency and critical care hub with a varied caseload that includes gastric dilatation-volvulus, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, intensive post-operative monitoring, and medical in-patient care. The pace is dynamic but supported, with excellent communication between day and night teams through structured handovers. You’ll be part of a close-knit overnight team with a veterinary surgeon and patient care assistant, while also benefiting from a broader clinical community of experienced registered veterinary nurses, patient care assistants, and certificate-holding veterinary surgeons.
We foster a supportive culture where mental health, learning, and professional development are prioritised. Our team is experienced, inclusive, and invested in helping new colleagues thrive.
