As the Relationship and Partnership Manager, you will play a critical role in making the UK-wide Help to Grow: Management programme a success.
What is the Help to Grow: Management Course?
The course is designed to help small business leaders boost their leadership skills and business performance. It includes 12 modules, 1-to-1 mentoring, and a peer network. Delivered by over 60 accredited business schools across the UK, the programme aims to support small business growth and leadership development.
About the role
We seek an experienced Relationship and Partnership Manager to oversee partnership development, including lead generation, relationship building, contracting, and account management. You will work closely with the Demand Generation Senior Stakeholder Manager to maximize partnership value and increase course enrolments, managing stakeholders within CABS and the Small Business Charter.
You will identify new partnership opportunities and optimize existing collaborations, such as securing venue facilities or arranging speakers for events.
Principal Job Functions and Main Tasks
We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent interpersonal, leadership, and strategic networking skills. Responsibilities include managing the partner pipeline, maintaining relationships, generating ideas, and communicating opportunities across the organization.
* Enhance the programme through partnerships with government agencies and third-party organizations with aligned goals.
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders to improve engagement and leverage opportunities.
Experience
* Minimum 5 years in partnership or relationship management roles
* Experience developing external partnerships
* Managing relationships with senior stakeholders
* Project management skills, including working to deadlines
* Performance tracking and KPI management
* Proposal and report writing experience
* Contract review, negotiation, and securing agreements
Skills
* Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
* Public speaking and presentation skills
* Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication
* Strategic thinking for collaboration opportunities
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
* Proficiency with CRM systems and data analysis for reporting
