The Role
We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and experienced Self‑Employed Tennis Coach to deliver high‑quality tennis coaching to pupils aged 4–11.
Sessions may take place during the school day (for 1:1 lessons), as well as before and after school, at weekends, or during school holidays, depending on demand and court availability.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high‑quality 1:1 coaching, small group lessons, squad sessions, and extra‑curricular clubs.
* Plan and deliver engaging, progressive tennis programmes suitable for a range of ages and abilities.
* Manage your own bookings, scheduling, and invoicing directly with parents.
* Ensure all sessions are safe, inclusive, and aligned with the school’s safeguarding expectations.
* Liaise with school staff to coordinate court use and scheduling.
* Promote tennis within the school community and encourage pupil participation.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
* Holds an LTA Level 3 (or equivalent) coaching qualification.
* Has proven experience coaching tennis to children, ideally within a school or club setting.
* Is an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
* Is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about developing young players.
* Brings energy and creativity to coaching, with ideas for engaging programmes and activities.
Working Arrangements
* Flexible working: Sessions can be arranged before/after school, weekends, and during school holidays.
* Facilities: Access to two on‑site tennis courts.
* Court hire: £15 per hour payable to the school.
* Earnings: Coaches set their own rates and invoice parents directly.
* Autonomy: Opportunity to grow and manage your own coaching programme within the school.
