About The Role
Mai-Wel is looking for a Facilities Business Partner, Property & Assets (including Fleet) to provide specialist advice and support to our Infrastructure function, with a focus on managing, maintaining and protecting property and infrastructure assets across multiple sites. This is a newly formed Infrastructure team role reporting to the Senior Manager, Infrastructure and includes travel/work across sites.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Maintain and manage a preventative maintenance schedule for Mai-Wel assets
Coordinate and manage an inspection timetable (property, fleet, and other assets)
Manage work orders for repairs and servicing to minimise downtime
Engage and manage vendors/contractors, including site safety expectations
Develop asset replacement schedules aligned to lifecycle recommendations
Ensure asset security and protection procedures are in place, active and tested
Support infrastructure projects (strategic and operational) alongside the Senior Manager, Infrastructure
Skills and Experiences:
About You (skills & Experience)
You'll be a proactive, solutions-focused operator who can manage competing priorities and build strong internal relationships. Ideally you'll have:
3+ years in a similar role with comparable responsibility
Experience managing multi-location property and/or a large fleet portfolio (desirable)
Strong understanding of property/fleet compliance, maintenance practices, and safety expectations
Confidence using systems/databases to manage workflow and prioritisation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), SharePoint and facilities management software
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Business, Administration, or related, or relevant experience that is equivalent.
Trade background (e.g., carpentry/plumbing/mechanics/electrical) or WHS/quality auditing qualifications (desirable)
