Working in the Building Improvement Compliance Team, the team carry out administrative processes to support compliance of Council properties to current housing legislation requirements, particularly electrical testing. The team work closely with teams across Homes and Neighbourhoods, and external contractors to ensure works are completed and data is recorded accurately on a variety of systems to record health and safety compliance across the housing stock.

This is a newly created team and the successful applicant will lead the team to ensure accurate data recording across multiple systems whilst developing processes and building the team with administrative staff.
What We Are Looking For From You
You will have experience of managing or supervising staff and working in a compliance driven environment with an emphasis on housing. SAP is the core system used by the team, and it is essential that the successful candidate has previous experience in using this system.
You will have experience of dealing with contractors and elected members, and be able to build effective working relationships. You will also have excellent organisational, analytical and data management skills.
