Core Responsibilities The role will work directly into the Head of the London Agency, with strong links to the Creative Director. Lead the end-to-end design process across all media —from campaign concept to final execution, ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation across print, video, digital, social, and experiential. Inspire, mentor, and manage a team of designers (junior to senior), creating a culture of excellence, feedback, and continuous growth. Natural collaborator demonstrable experience working as one team in an integrated way with Art Directors and into a CD. Own the creative bar for all design output, reviewing and guiding work to maintain visual consistency, brand integrity, and exceptional craft, while pushing boundaries through new media and emerging technologies. Act as a bridge between creative and operations, collaborating closely with the Creative Director and Creative Services Manager to ensure aligned vision, efficient resourcing, and delivery. Bring brand expression to life, shaping visual identity (VI) and campaign design systems across platforms, strong in origination and the application of existing brand identities and guidelines. Stay ahead of the curve, drawing from industry trends and tools to inspire your team and apply fresh, culturally relevant design thinking. Oversee and contribute hands-on to design projects, balancing leadership with direct involvement in key initiatives and high-impact executions. Identify challenges early and lead solutions, operationally and creatively—ensuring the team remains agile and supported in a dynamic workflow. The global development is driven out of The LEGO Groups head Quarter in Billund, Denmark. Location wise OLA also has offices in Copenhagen, Boston, London, Singapore and Shanghai. Our LEGO Agency London is focused on developing campaigns from Global to local. Covering the full value chain from campaign strategy to in market executions. We balance work from Global projects to campaigns for WE and CEEMEA markets with special focus on FRIB, EUC and UK, balanced with Global occasions campaigns. Do you have what it takes? Experience delivering outstanding design in an integrated agency, including leadership of brand and digital campaigns. Proven creative leadership, with experience mentoring multidisciplinary designers and building cohesive, motivated teams. You are inclusive and inspirational with a demonstrable track record in leading multi-disciplined design teams with diverse skills in an agency network or in-house function, who has delivered impactful and innovative 360 campaigns A standout portfolio of work that shows your ability to combine brand storytelling with fresh, channel-specific design execution. Deep knowledge of brand design, campaign systems, and digital platforms, with strong technical fluency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite. A natural collaborator and communicator, confident presenting to senior stakeholders and partnering across creative, production, and strategy. An eye for both big picture creative thinking and pixel-perfect detail, able to jump between the two with ease.
