Job Title: Part-Time Legal Counsel (IP & Commercial Contracts)
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Commitment: 1–2 days per week
We’re looking for an experienced legal professional to join us on a part-time basis (1–2 days per week) as our standalone legal advisor. This role is ideal for someone seeking flexibility while managing high-impact legal work. You’ll oversee all legal matters within the business, with a strong focus on intellectual property and commercial contracts.
What You’ll Do:
* Develop and manage IP strategy and portfolio.
* Draft, review, and negotiate NDAs, supply/distribution, and licensing agreements.
* Ensure compliance with UK IP laws and industry standards.
* Provide commercial advice to cross-functional teams.
* Deliver training and maintain governance frameworks.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified solicitor or UK IP attorney (5+ years PQE).
* Strong experience in IP and commercial contracts.
* Excellent drafting skills and commercial awareness.
* FMCG/manufacturing sector experience preferred.
