Riverport Medical Practice is looking to appoint two Practice Nurses to join our team. Both full‑time and part‑time opportunities are available. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced Practice Nurse who is confident managing and supporting long‑term conditions. The ideal candidate will have completed (or be undertaking) a nationally recognised diabetes education and training programme. This role will be based at our St Ives and/or Somersham sites.
Main duties of the job
The Practice Nurse provides treatment room services (such as cervical screening and immunisations) as well as long‑term condition management (such as asthma care and diabetes management).
The post-holder will operate within their own sphere of competence, and agreed acceptable limits of practice, to provide expert professional clinical advice to patients, carers, or colleagues where appropriate.

Riverport Medical Practice is a GMS practice with 13,500 patients. Our three sites in St Ives, Somersham and Fenstanton are rated "Good" by CQC.
The Practice uses SystmOne clinical system as well as other digital healthcare solutions such as AccuRx and Abtrace.
Riverport Medical Practice works in collaboration with the St Ives Primary Care Network to provide services to patients across St Ives and the surrounding villages.
