Job title: Procurement Advisor
Job Type: Contract
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months initially with potential to extend
Pay rate: Negotiable based on experience
Location: Flintshire
Hybrid/Remote Working: Hybrid 3‑4 days a week onsite
Hours of work: 37 hours per week
Responsibilities
* Experience involved in purchasing goods or services in any capacity
* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
* Background in public sector tendering processes and contract management
* Familiarity with public procurement regulations, including PCR 2015 and/or PA 2023
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
* Experience engaging with and influencing stakeholders
* Ability to analyse and interpret complex information
* Experience using MS Project Online, Microsoft Office, or ERP systems
* Previous experience in a Procurement Adviser or similar role
* Basic capability in drafting Invitations to Tender (ITT) with appropriate support and guidance
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience from a Defence environment or Highly Regulated sector would be preferred
* Good knowledge of MS Office products
