Position: Electrician Location: High Wycombe (with travel to client sites across the Southeast and Midlands) Salary: £38,000–£43,000 (DOE), Vehicle & Fuel card, Overtime available, plus many benefits Purpose of the role We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our multidisciplinary technical services team. You’ll work across a variety of commercial and industrial sites delivering high-standard electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, and compliance testing. You will support key infrastructure including HVAC systems, water treatment equipment, plant rooms, and compliance-critical services. Key Responsibilities Carry out electrical installation and remedial works in accordance with BS 7671 (18th Edition). Perform testing and inspection duties (EICRs, periodic reports) to NICEIC standards. Diagnose and repair faults in power distribution, control systems, and field wiring. Support the installation and maintenance of water treatment systems (e.g. reverse osmosis, chemical dosing, pumps, UV disinfection). Provide electrical support and collaborate with HVAC engineers, plumbers, and water hygiene technicians. Ensure accurate and timely completion of compliance reports, risk assessments, and remedial documentation. Liaise with clients on-site to ensure minimal disruption and clear communication. Must have or hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent apprenticeship. City & Guilds 2391 (or 2394/2395) in Inspection and Testing. (Desirable) 18th Edition (BS 7671) certified. Minimum 3 years’ experience Strong knowledge of electrical safety, fault finding, and compliance practices. Full UK Driving Licence (company van provided).
