Job Description SVP Programmes and Portfolio Full time - Hybrid Derby What you will be doing You will provide project management leadership and direction for major projects, programmes and portfolios to deliver the company strategy, business case and business plans. This role provides leadership, direction, oversight and reporting of the selection, prioritisation and control of the function or business projects and programmes in line with the strategic objectives of the Civil Aerospace business. The goal is to balance change initiatives and business-as-usual while optimising return on investment. Provide project management leadership and direction for major projects, programmes and portfolios to deliver the company strategy, business case and business plans Identify internal and / or external customer product and / or service needs, and develop a strategy to meet those needs Establish and maintain consistent governance frameworks and methodologies, for the delivery of the portfolio, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities and accountabilities are defined that align with the function and / or business requirements. Accountable for the governance and control of all investment including capital, revenue and resource for change programmes Execute the developed strategy to meet identified and anticipated customer requirements Accountable for ensuring all project / programme / portfolio activities are delivered with account of the full project and product lifecycle and in line with company standard processes Manage a portfolio of projects and deliver the agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) in line with company standard processes Accountable for stakeholder interface management and successful delivery of stakeholder requirements Provide leadership, direction and knowledge within their area of responsibility Responsible for providing accurate information to gain commitment, funding and resources to deliver the project / programme working with the Portfolio Partner Lead integration of major work packages to deliver project / programme / portfolio objectives Why Rolls-Royce? Proven experience in the governance and management of projects and / or programmes / portfolio of increasing complexity Member of a professional body and working towards APM Chartership qualification or equivalent Experience should have included exposure to non-core project management roles (i.e purchasing, commercial, engineering management etc).
