Location: Cornwall (Truro, Padstow, Newquay, Launceston multiple sites)
Work Type: Long-term projects & ad hoc work
Pay Rate: £23.00£25.00 per hour DOE and project requirements

We are recruiting experienced Steel Fixers for upcoming construction projects across Truro, Padstow, Newquay, and Launceston. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled Steel Fixers looking for a mixture of long-term projects and ad hoc work.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carrying out duties as a Steel Fixer across multiple sites.

* Laying, tying, and fixing steel reinforcement for concrete structures.

* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

* Measuring, cutting, and shaping steel bars to required sizes.

* Working safely in line with site policies and health and safety regulations.

* Supporting other tradespeople as required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Steel Fixer on construction sites.

2. Knowledge of 1st and 2nd fix reinforcement work is beneficial.

3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

4. Good physical fitness and attention to detail.

5. Positive, team-oriented attitude.
