The company are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to make key contributions to expand the product offering as they continue to scale across the whole of the UK.
The role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be pivotal in developing and scaling the
backend systems. You will work alongside a cross-functional team of backend
engineers, product managers and data scientists to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable
solutions that meet the needs of their customers.
Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Director of Engineering, you will be working with the following technologies -
* Containerised backed service built on top of Django/Python and Django REST Framework
* AWS services (they use Terraform for infrastructure as code)
* Server-less framework for our pub/sub processing engine used for asynchronous tasks
Tech stack: Python, Django, AWS, Terraform, PostgreSQL.
💰 Salary: £80k - £100k + 20% Bonus
UK Remote
You will need
* 3+ years commercial experience developing with Python, Django and Django REST framework.
* Good understanding of cloud-based architectures and best practices
* Proven experience of taking ownership of products and seeing them through to delivery.
* Good knowledge of cloud architecture and best practices.
* Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
