We are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly primary school on a long-term temporary basis starting November 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to guide pupils through a key stage of their learning and development.
Duties as Year 2 Teacher:
* Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
* Create a positive classroom atmosphere that supports every child’s academic and personal growth.
* Monitor and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, teaching assistants and the wider school community.
* Uphold the school’s safeguarding and behaviour policies.
Ideal Year 2 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience teaching at KS1, ideally Year 2.
* Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and SATs preparation.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills as Year 2 Teacher.
* Current Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
