Overview
Role: Electrical Controls Engineer. Salary: GBP 35,000 - 45,000 per annum (dependent on experience, please advise). Type: Permanent. Location: Near Heywood. This employer operates within engineering and is looking to add an Electrical Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team.
Responsibilities
* Working within the existing multi-disciplinary engineering team
* Being involved in varied Electrical Engineering projects
* Carrying out FAT and SAT activities
* Programming and testing PLCs (Siemens TIA Portal)
* Offering technical support to customers and colleagues when required
* Supporting commissioning activities onsite
Qualifications
* Degree qualification or similar in Electrical Engineering
* Experience programming PLCs such as Siemens TIA Portal
* Knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations
* Confident reading electrical schematics (AutoCAD Electrical)
* Experience troubleshooting industrial networks such as Profinet or Modbus or similar
* Excellent problem-solving capabilities
* Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
