Offer description

Endomag is a global technology company on a mission: we believe everyone deserves a better standard of cancer care. Our magnetic technologies help many of the world’s leading physicians and hospitals offer women with breast cancer more precise, less invasive treatment – and avoid surgery when it isn’t needed.

Using our Sentimag® probe, clinicians can accurately stage breast cancer with our Magtrace® lymphatic tracer and localise tissue with our Magseed® marker. Tens of thousands of women have already benefited from our solutions – and we’re just getting started.

We’re now looking for a Clinical Application Specialist to join our team in Scotland and help us expand access to better breast cancer care.

What To Expect

As a Clinical Application Specialist, you will be on the front line with our customers – supporting breast surgeons, radiologists, theatre staff and the Endomag Sales team in your territory.

You will:

1. Demonstrate our products in hospitals and clinics.
2. Support new system installations.
3. Train and educate clinical teams on safe and effective use of our technologies.

Your work will directly impact patient care by helping clinicians adopt our innovations confidently and effectively. You’ll uncover new opportunities in your territory, support key accounts and play a key role in the accelerated growth of the business.

What you’ll be doing
4. Become a clinical application expert on Endomag’s portfolio and breast cancer treatment pathways.
5. Build deep clinical and technical knowledge of breast cancer diagnosis and therapy.
6. Educate and support customers in all aspects of product use – in person and virtually.
7. Attend procedures at multiple hospital sites to provide on-the-ground support.
8. Deliver high-quality product demonstrations, training and handovers.
9. Lead new customer training and evaluations, and provide structured feedback.
10. Maintain strong customer relationships through regular, proactive communication.
11. Spend significant time in the field, building trust and confidence with users.
12. Identify and share new business opportunities and ideas for growth.
13. Work closely with the Sales team to support lead validation and account development.
14. Attend educational events and tradeshows to increase awareness and generate leads.
What we’re looking for

Education

15. Bachelor’s degree in Science, Business, Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience & knowledge

16. Interest or experience in the healthcare / medical sector; experience in a commercial or sales environment is a plus.
17. Strong understanding of human physiology and an interest in surgical procedures.
18. Experience in operating rooms/theatres is beneficial, but not essential.
19. Confidence reading and translating technical or clinical information (e.g. academic papers) into clear messages.
20. Evidence of business acumen and understanding of the sales pathway.

Skills & attributes

21. Excellent interpersonal skills – confident, tactful, and professional with all stakeholder groups.
22. Strong presentation skills – comfortable speaking to individuals, small groups and larger clinical audiences.
23. Clear, concise written communication.
24. Creative, practical problem solver, with a focus on quality and good clinical practice.
25. Highly organised, able to multitask, work collaboratively within a team and operate with a high degree of autonomy in the field.
26. High levels of integrity, reliability and professionalism.
27. Proficient with Microsoft and Mac applications.

Additional requirements

28. Experience in breast oncology is an advantage, but not essential – we will train you on our products and clinical applications.
29. Willingness to travel frequently across your territory and throughout the UK.
30. Strong time management and the ability to prioritise effectively.
31. Excellent social and influencing skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
32. Valid driving licence (essential).
Why join Endomag?
33. Directly contribute to improving breast cancer care for thousands of patients.
34. Work with innovative, market-leading technology in a growing, mission-driven company.
35. Partner with experienced clinical, commercial and technical professionals who will support your learning and development.
36. Enjoy a varied, field-based role where no two days are the same and your work has tangible clinical impact.

If you’re passionate about improving cancer care, thrive in the clinical environment and enjoy working closely with healthcare professionals, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a full time, field based position, where you will be required to travel 80% of the time across Scotland and the North East.
