Teacher - Maternity Cover at Collectiive
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Gloucester is seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis starting the end of November. This role is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers who are passionate about Early Years education and want to impact children's first years at school.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum.
* Create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment.
* Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
* Support early literacy, numeracy and social development.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour, learning and safeguarding.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in EYFS or Reception (placements accepted for ECTs).
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A passion for early years learning and development.
* A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
