Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and be proficient in both interior and exterior decorating. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Duties
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
* Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Select and mix colours according to specifications or customer preferences.
* Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within the agreed timeframe.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
* Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on site.
Requirements
* Proven experience in construction painting and decorating.
* Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* At least 4 years in the painting trade.
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Pay: £17.00-£20.01 per hour
