Reporting to the Social Value Lead, this role will support the social value performance of Estates Supply Chain to ensure social value is embedded within the suppliers’ contract as a requirement following the social value model. Across a portfolio of Estates contracts, this role will represent DWP Estates as the intelligent client, against agreed performance metrics and will foster a collaborative relationship to drive innovation and identify improvement opportunities ensuring DWP extract to most social and economical benefits from Estates contract. This role will help raise the profile, understanding and importance of Social Value internally with key stakeholders, helping it embedded within DWP. Support the delivery of and act as an advocate for the DWP’s central Social Value policy and strategy. Be a Subject Matter Expert for social value, trends and liaison across the department. Social Value Procurement, Delivery and Reporting Account manage a portfolio of DWP Estates Suppliers, including leading the assessment, support and delivery of a Suppliers’ Social Value plan and outcomes. Lead a portfolio of Suppliers’ quarterly meetings and annual review of Suppliers’ Social Value plan Liaise across Suppliers, internal teams and the wider department to share best practices and trial opportunities. Support the Social Value contribution in the Estates procurement processes, including the development of social value criteria, KPI design and weighting in tender writing and evaluatio Lead engagement with supply chain to ensure is accurate, timely and assured to help identify trends, best practices and raising risks Lead on quarterly reporting of Supplier Social Value KPI and SPIs with Estates Governance Team. Contribute to the development of a framework to measure and track social value delivered across the estate, and support the development of dashboards. Identify trends and areas for improvement from the reporting. Undertake annual reviews and develop new ways of working with suppliers. Communications and Engagement Engage and collaborate with internal stakeholders on social value to: Raise awareness, upskill, share best practice and improve cross departmental working. Keep abreast of new and changes to DWP programmes which can be supported through Supplier Social Value activit Collaborate with Estates People & Capability to raise awareness and embed social value across the directorate Lead on building the profile of Estates Social Value through the delivery of an internal communications and engagement plan, across DWP Estates and wider organisation. Encourage the uptake of available Social Value initiatives within Estates and establish measuring mechanisms, collating data from several internal sources into one SV report Engage XGov to expand Social Value stakeholder network, share best practice and support problem solve.
