CXK is looking for a Youth Support Adviser to support the YES team and young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET), or are at risk of becoming NEET, with their transition into post-16 provision. As a Youth Support Adviser, you will be confident in communication and successfully engage with young people through various methods, we call this tracking.
Main responsibilities:
1. Champion and promote education, employment and training opportunities and resources with NEET young people.
2. Carry out tracking of EET situations as part of the Tracking Team and record this work on the Aspire database.
3. Complete initial MAPP assessments for young people who access YES.
4. Represent the YES service in other venues, such as colleges or community hubs.
