The Role Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you’ll support the seamless operation of our branch while being prepared to step in and lead when required. Your goal? Drive sales, nurture customer relationships, and deliver operational excellence in line with their high standards. Key Responsibilities * Assist in managing day-to-day branch operations, stepping up in the absence of the Branch Manager. * Support branch sales and performance, helping to meet and exceed targets. I * Manage trade counter and branch purchasing, stock control, and inventory accuracy. * Develop and maintain relationships with both trade and retail customers. * Uphold Health & Safety and compliance standards across the branch environment. * Collaborate with departments for operational alignment. About You * Strong customer-focused mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly. * Proactive, resilient, and ready to take initiative in a fast-paced merchant setting. * Confident with numerical data—able to interpret financials and sales statistics. * Excellent communicator with leadership potential. * Plumbing & heating sector or trade counter experience preferred. * A full UK driving licence is desirable.
