Experience Required:
* Biomedical sciences experience.
* 5-10 years of research experience.
* Preferably a Ph.D. or significant working experience.
* Animal/Human studies are preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the team to drive research integrity investigations.
* Check articles for integrity of authorship, content, data, and key ethics statements.
* Assist the ethics team with contacting authors and assessing files requested from authors.
* Identify experts to provide advice on specific articles when required.
* Work with the ethics and editorial teams on organizing post-publication notices.
* Handle confidential information confidently and sensitively, considering legal and ethical issues.
What We Are Looking For:
* Research background in a relevant discipline.
* Editorial experience in assessing scientific manuscripts for quality and integrity of content.
* Familiarity with image detection tools.
* Strong understanding of various research methods and practices.
* Awareness of global research and publishing ethics issues.
* Awareness of required journal editorial standards.
* Experience in project management.
* Strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills.
