Salary: £91,615 – £103,835 + 5% on-call supplement
Location: Oxford
Hours: 37 per week – flexible working arrangements available
Contract Type: Permanent | Politically restricted post
About the Role
We’re seeking an inspiring Public Health leader to join our high-performing team and help drive forward transformational change in a county known for collaboration, innovation and impact.
As Consultant in Public Health, you’ll:
* Shape Oxfordshire’s strategic public health direction through system-wide partnerships
* Lead priority areas includinghealthcare public health, intelligence/surveillance, and substance use prevention
* Champion population health management and preventative approaches aligned with our10-Year Health Plan
* Collaborate with local NHS Trusts, the ICS, social care, and criminal justice partners
* Manage and mentor a skilled team of around 10 public health professionals
* Represent Public Health at executive-level meetings and contribute to regional teaching and audit
* Embed aMarmot approach to tackling health inequalities head-on
