As we continue to grow and expand, we're looking for a IT Support Engineer to join our team.
Your Role
You will join a close-knit IT team that supports all aspects of IT operations and security across a growing organisation. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated engineer wishing to develop advanced skills in Microsoft 365, Intune, and cybersecurity. You will be responsible for day-to-day support while progressively taking on security and modern workplace responsibilities.
Your Responsibilities
Operational
* Provide 1st–2nd line support to end users
* Assist with onboarding/offboarding, including device setup, and account management
* Support Intune enrolled devices (Windows, iOS, Android)
* Manage asset lifecycle and documentation
Microsoft 365
* Support day-to-day O365 administration with guidance from senior staff
* Assist with identity & access management
* Help improve automation and governance
Security (Primary Development Path)
* Support incident response (phishing, suspicious activity, endpoint alerts)
* Assist with security monitoring (Defender, audit logs, sign-in logs)
* Help maintain compliance, patching, and vulnerability remediation
* Participate in security improvement projects
Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Essential
* Degree-level education in IT, Computing, Cybersecurity or related experience.
* Strong understanding of core IT concepts (networking, Windows, identity, endpoints)
* Experience in 1st line or service desk support environment
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (user/admin concepts)
* Basic understanding of Intune or mobile/endpoint management systems
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
* Understanding of security fundamentals (authentication, MFA, phishing prevention, device compliance, patching)
* Fast learner with strong initiative
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Collaborative, proactive, and eager to develop technically
* Comfortable balancing reactive support with project‑based work
Desirable
* Experience with Microsoft Intune (enrolment, compliance, configuration profiles)
* Exposure to O365 admin (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, identity, licensing)
* Knowledge of cybersecurity tools (preferably Defender, Sentinel, compliance centre)
* Understanding of Azure AD / Entra ID (groups, roles, conditional access)
* Experience with vulnerability management or incident response
* Certification‑backed expertise, supported by relevant hands‑on experience, is highly valued for this role.
