Our client, a pioneering automotive company, is looking to recruit a Programme Planner who will support structured and effective planning across a flagship vehicle programme. The successful candidate will take ownership of timing plans, manage dependencies, and help keep the programme on track, working closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
The Programme Planner will:
Own and implement best practices for programme planning across all functions and workstreams.
Build and manage cohesive master schedules, integrating feeder plans and resolving conflicts.
Identify critical paths and risks, supporting mitigation strategies with stakeholders.
Support the Head of Programme Management in structuring and refining delivery plans.
Maintain accurate planning data and provide clear reports to stakeholders at all levels.
The Programme Planner will have:
Experience supporting whole-vehicle automotive or similar product development programmes.
Strong proficiency in MS Project, including critical path analysis and dependency tracking.
A degree in mechanical, automotive engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience working within the automotive industry (OEM or engineering services) with an understanding of product development.
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication across teams.
