Artel Rubber are looking for an accounts assistant, reporting to the finance manager.
Part time to begin with, the the possibility to turn into full time after a few months.
Main roles are:
Sales Ledger:
Raise, input and email customer invoices
Monthly Bank reconciliation of Euro accounts
Sending customer statements
Chasing Payments
Purchase Ledger
Match delivery notes to supplier invoices and purchase orders
Check prices against purchase orders
Input supplier invoices
Help with Credit control and reporting.
Cover for when the finance manager is away -
Making Supplier payments
checking daily cashflow
Preparing payroll for the accountants and making payments
Ideally Sage experience and some knowledge of accounts.
The ideal candidate would be used to a busy environment, be organised and proactive in the their work.
