Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a welcoming primary school in Westminster Provide 1:1 support to a student with SEN, including learning difficulties, autism, or other special needs Assist with individualized learning plans (ILPs), ensuring the student’s needs are met and supporting their engagement in class Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to develop and deliver tailored learning activities Foster the student’s social and emotional development, helping them build confidence and independence Provide support with behavioural challenges, using positive reinforcement and tailored strategies Monitor the student’s progress, providing regular feedback to the teacher and SENCo Create a safe, inclusive environment where the student feels supported and encouraged Experience & Qualifications: Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in an SEN setting Experience working 1:1 with children with SEN (such as autism, ADHD, learning difficulties) Strong understanding of special educational needs and the strategies to support students in their learning Patient, caring, and empathetic nature, with a commitment to helping students reach their potential Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff and parents Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
