Job Description
3. Act as process owner for consolidation and reporting within the business.
4. Manage and optimize financial systems, including Oracle Hyperion and internal tools (Onyx).
5. Drive improvements in consolidation processes and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
6. Collaborate closely with the Business Solutions team (Finance Systems Analyst, Finance & Transitions Specialist, Business Solutions Manager).
7. Support month-end close processes (2-day turnaround).
8. Provide technical expertise and guidance on system functionality and enhancements.
9. Work closely with stakeholders during the transition phase and beyond.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Consolidation and Financial Systems Specialist should have:
10. Proven experience in financial consolidation processes and systems management.
11. A background in accounting or finance within the business services industry.
12. Strong technical knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools.
13. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
14. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
15. Qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
16. Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3-5 years post-qualification experience.
17. Strong background in financial consolidation and systems management.
18. Hands-on experience with Oracle Hyperion and related consolidation tools.
19. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
20. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
21. Tech-focused mindset with a passion for process improvement.
22. This is a long-term role focused on system ownership rather than initial setup.
