Male Home Carer / Domiciliary Care Assistant

Tezlom is currently recruiting Male Home Care Workers / Domiciliary Care Assistants to join our dedicated homecare team in the Hayes area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives by providing high‑quality, person‑centred care in the community.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are experienced; Punjabi/Hindi speakers preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing personal care including washing, dressing, toileting and feeding
* Supporting Service Users with daily living activities and personal hygiene
* Promoting dignity, privacy and independence at all times
* Assisting individuals with limited mobility using appropriate equipment
* Supporting Service Users with physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual needs
* Monitoring and supporting individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, palliative or long‑term health conditions
* Administering or supporting medication in line with care plans and policies
* Completing accurate care records, daily notes and Medication Administration Records (MAR sheets)
* Encouraging social activities, hobbies and community engagement
* Preparing meals, snacks and supporting with eating and drinking where required
* Carrying out light household tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
* Cleaning and maintaining equipment such as commodes, hearing aids and glasses
* Escorting Service Users to appointments, outings or social visits
* Ensuring the security of Service Users’ homes at the start and end of each visit
* Maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of care and support
Requirements
* Right to work in the UK
* Experience working in healthcare for at least 3 months
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Care Certificate
* Previous experience in a care or community setting
* Knowledge of Punjabi or Hindi language
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
