Owston Hall Hotel & Estate is a growing business with big plans for 2024 and beyond. Currently a 32-bedroom country house hotel with championship golf course, the hotel has plans to develop a brand new state of the art Spa & wellness centre as well redevelopment of all bar, restaurant and function space.
As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. Your friendly nature, excellent communication skills, and ability to provide exceptional customer service will contribute to creating a positive guest experience. If you are organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to have you join our team.
Responsibilities:
– Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
– Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring all necessary information is collected
– Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries and requests
– Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
– Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively
– Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and transactions
– Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and reporting
Experience:
– Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle multiple phone lines
