Overview of the role
We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Hemsby in Norfolk.
This community pharmacy is just a short distance from Great Yarmouth and 30 minutes from Norwich. It is located in the centre of this beautiful seaside village, just a short walk from the beach. With some parking spaces on site and convenient public transport the pharmacy is easy to get to.
Our patient base is mostly made up of our friendly locals with more tourist uptake in the summer months. We're also closely connected to the village GP surgery who we have a good relationship with.
How our pharmacy makes a difference:
* It dispenses 2,300 items per week.
* It provides a wide range of services including flu, covid jabs, and contraception service.
* It provides services to 1 care homes (22 beds) and 3 substance misuse patients.
* It dispenses 18 community blisters.
This pharmacy is open Monday 9am - 6pm, Tuesday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm, and Saturday 9am - 1pm. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of two full time colleagues one of which is the Team Leader.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits
We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.
We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
