Cover Supervisor (Secondary)
Location: Darlington, County Durham

Salary: £105-£130 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across Darlington. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in education or those seeking flexible work within a school setting.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will lead classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and complete pre-set work. You will play an important role in maintaining a positive and structured learning environment across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise classes and deliver pre-planned work
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Maintain a focused and productive learning environment
Provide clear instructions and support to students
Report back on student progress and behaviour
Assist with general school duties where required
Person Specification
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confidence managing groups of students
A flexible and proactive approach
A genuine interest in supporting young people
