Job Title - Tenant Support Housing Officer Permanent Grade C - £35,412 - £44,075 Working 36.5 hours per week About the Role: As a Tenant Support Officer, you will work closely with Localities Housing Officers to provide a seamless and responsive support service for tenants with complex and sensitive needs. You will: Deliver evidence-based interventions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, care leavers, vulnerable adults, and families. Provide confidential, non-judgmental support to tenants affected by domestic abuse, helping them develop personalised safety and support plans. Collaborate with key partners including Voids and Lettings Teams, police, social services, and voluntary agencies to coordinate wraparound support. Conduct thorough assessments to identify risk and support needs, ensuring timely referrals and interventions. Maintain accurate, confidential case records in line with data protection and safeguarding standards. Organise and chair case planning and review meetings, and attend resident and multi-agency meetings as required. Support tenants with income maximisation, welfare benefits, and tenancy-related matters to help them sustain their homes. Contribute to awareness-raising initiatives and staff training on domestic abuse and safeguarding.
