ABOUT THE ROLE
Your main focus as a Registered Nurse will be to act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required, and to observe all instructions to act on their behalf while ensuring high standards of care for our residents.
Other responsibilities include:
* Undertaking nursing tasks such as medication distribution, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and managing chronic medical conditions.
* Advising families of residents and GPs about any changes in condition that raise concern, and keeping them informed and involved in ongoing care decisions.
* Responsibility for the effective deployment and supervision of staff within the care team, ensuring all tasks are completed during your shift and residents receive the required care.
* Providing high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful, you will embody our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do.
Our ideal candidate must:
* Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
* Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience with up-to-date knowledge of care, supported by relevant post-basic studies or qualifications.
* Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.
* Have a sound knowledge of care planning and its practical application.
