Sport is a much-loved aspect of Claremont life, and we offer many sports for pupils to take part in, whether it is for fun, fitness or to represent the school. Our sports department encourages participation, enjoyment of sport and places emphasis on the relevance of a healthy lifestyle in relation to their everyday lives.
We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate sports assistant to join the sports department and support the delivery of PE and games across the whole school. You will lead teams and assist during games lessons and fixtures, which include Saturday mornings.
We are looking for someone who is confident in our core sports of football, rugby, netball, lacrosse, athletics and cricket, either with previous coaching experience or playing to a high standard. The candidate should be comfortable refereeing and umpiring, demonstrate a fun, creative and adaptable approach, and be a sporting role model to all pupils.
This role would suit a recent graduate from a sports related discipline and is a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the field of sport. It would be ideal for someone who may be considering a career in sport or education.
In return, we offer a competitive salary and all the benefits of working in a thriving independent school including generous contributory pension, 5 x life assurance, free lunches during term time, onsite parking and a cycle to work scheme.
Further details of the role can be found under the ‘Working at Claremont’ section on our website:
