We are recruiting a full‑time or part‑time Radiography Assistant in the Diagnostic Imaging Department. The Radiography Assistant is essential for the smooth running of the Diagnostic Imaging Service, supporting both the patients and staff.
This role is not available for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application.
Responsibilities
* Clinical support and patient care during imaging procedures involving MRI, CT, Ultrasound and plain x‑rays.
* Assisting in movement of beds, wheel chairs, and patients using manual handling equipment provided.
* Preparing the clinical rooms for procedures and working aseptically during procedures.
* Entering data into the radiology computer system.
* Communicating with members of staff outside of the department to arrange complex scanning procedures.
Shift and Service Hours
The department operates a seven‑day service and shifts involve evenings, weekends and community hospital sites.
