The department has over 1,000 staff, students and academic visitors who work together to investigate the causes and prevention of disease and lead human health forward. The position is located within the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science and affiliated with the Pandemic Sciences Institute. Operating at a strategic level within a complex international consortium, you will take ownership of the Dissemination, Exploitation, and Policymaking support work package for the PANDAI project—a major European Commission Horizon-funded initiative creating a European Pandemics AI Observatory. Your key responsibilities will include devising the strategic roadmap for the project dissemination and engagement, negotiating with strategic partners including the WHO and national Ministries of Health, and overseeing the relevant budget. You will also take direct responsibility for executing the communication strategy, creating partner toolkits and training, authoring policy briefs, managing digital content, and mobilizing partners to ensure maximum project impact. The position is full time (part time considered) and fixed term for 3 years.
