Research Fellow - Senior Bioinformatician in Spatial Biology - Strand, London, WC2R 2LSAbout UsThe Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine brings together disciplinary strengths in biomedical sciences, clinical research and public health to improve human health. Our faculty encompasses world-class departments (from neuroscience and structural molecular biology to infectious diseases and population health), close ties with NHS partners, and a commitment to translational research and high-quality teaching. The Hub for Applied Bioinformatics (HAB) is the Faculty’s focal point for computational biology, delivering bespoke bioinformatics support and training across genomics, transcriptomics, spatial biology and AI/ML projects. We co-lead the Applied Bioinformatics MSc, run practical workshops, and we recently partnered with KCL’s Spatial Biology Facility, an advanced centre equipped for high-resolution spatial transcriptomics and multiplex imaging, to turn large-scale data into actionable insights for both fundamental and translational research.About the roleWe are seeking a Senior Bioinformatician to join the Hub for Applied Bioinformatics (HAB) within the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King’s College London.
