Location: Manchester City Centre | Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)
Working hours: 35 hours per week | Core hours 10am–3pm | Early finish Fridays
Overview:
We are a leading utilities infrastructure consultancy providing bespoke solutions across gas, electricity, water, and telecoms to domestic, commercial, and industrial clients across the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Business Development Executive to join our successful and expanding sales team.
The Role:
This is a target-driven, outbound sales role with a strong focus on:
High-volume cold calling to generate new business opportunities. Managing and updating the CRM/database with accurate, timely information. Following up on inbound enquiries and qualifying leads. Building long-term relationships to encourage repeat business. Meeting and exceeding call volume, lead conversion, and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate leads through research, networking, and outbound calls. Maintain a strong sales pipeline through effective CRM management. Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery. Consistently achieve agreed KPIs and activity levels.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, telesales, or outbound sales. Comfortable making a high volume of calls daily. Excellent communication and organisational skills. CRM/database management experience. Self-motivated and target-driven. Industry experience in utilities or infrastructure is advantageous but not essential.
