R&D Project Manager – Role and Responsibilities – Project Engineer / Engineering / Manufacturing
Manage an accumulated project portfolio of approximately £8–10m
Lead teams and project activities to ensure compliance with quality systems and standards
Manage multiple concurrent projects
Work within a manufacturing business that designs and manufactures its own products
Take responsibility for cost, quality, design and delivery
Ensure appropriate project management tools are used to communicate plans and progress across the organisation and to customers
R&D Project Manager – Skills & Experience – Project Engineer / Engineering / Manufacturing / Electronic Systems
Strong knowledge and understanding of project management techniques (PRINCE2 advantageous)
Experience working for a manufacturer that designs its own products
Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve results
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarise complex issues at all levels
Determined, resilient and able to work under pressure while managing changing priorities
Proven hands-on project management experience
