About the jobProcurement Manager - £50k-£60kWe are currently seeking a Procurement Manager who has experience working within regulated procurement, and NEC Forms of Contract, for a major utilities firm in the South West.What you'll doa Category Manager, you will enjoy working with your stakeholders to identify the best way to deliver value. You will work with the business to influence spend, understand the market and supply base for your categories and develop innovative sourcing opportunities.at an experienced level, you will ensure that all procurement activity within your area adheres to the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016 and that agreements are designed and implemented to deliver best value to the company.will manage the tender process, from identifying potential suppliers through selection to the award, implementation and management of the agreement or contract.What you'll needwill have procurement category experience within one or more of the following areas:works and related services (familiar with NEC Contracts)technologiesand services (M&E, chemicals, capital equipment, haulage / tankers or similar).In addition, you will ideally have:understanding of Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016, or experience working with similar Framework Agreements in the Public Sector, Defence, Highways, Rail or Nuclear industriesand framework management experiencestakeholder management and communication skillsability to operate both independently, as well as working collaboratively as part of a teamcommercial and negotiation skillsor equivalentknowledge of eSourcing systems.
