Role: Infrastructure Engineer (Systems Engineer / 3rd Line Support / IT Engineer)
Location: Milton Keynes – hybrid (2 days WFH after probation)
Package: £48,000 + 5% pension + 5% Bonus + 25 days' holiday (rising to 30) + buy/sell up to 5
What You'll Be Doing
* Designing, building and maintaining on-premise and Azure cloud infrastructure.
* Taking the lead on upgrade projects and improvements.
* Keeping systems secure, stable and future-ready.
* Playing a key role in disaster recovery planning.
What You'll Bring
* Strong experience with servers, storage (SAN/NAS), networking and Azure.
* Hands‑on knowledge of Microsoft, VMware or Hyper‑V.
* Solid grasp of TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls and IDS/IPS.
* Bonus if you've used Palo Alto, LogicMonitor or other security tools.
* Great documentation habits and a calm, can‑do approach.
You’ll mainly be based in Milton Keynes, with some travel to Birmingham and the odd trip across the UK or Europe.
