Please note that you will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and successfully complete one of our induction assessments prior to any placements being offered.
You will be working with individuals placed into care settings for various reasons, with an array of disorders, behaviors, and needs. Therefore, we seek individuals with the confidence, patience, and skill set to work successfully with these individuals and make a positive impact on their lives. In this role, you will support service users throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, personal care, cleaning, and shopping.
Main duties and responsibilities
1. Build strong professional relationships with service users and other staff members.
2. Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for service users to live and for staff to work.
3. Keep up to date with all communication and information systems.
4. Attend and actively participate in meetings as appropriate.
5. Protect service users from any form of abuse from staff, visitors, or other service users.
6. Write accurate reports for reviews and keep written records for monitoring purposes.
7. Attend work reliably and punctually, following a set shift pattern.
8. Ensure you stay updated with all procedures and policy changes.
9. Take responsible care for the health and safety of yourself and others.
10. Undertake any additional duties relevant to the post as required.
