P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Tank Specialist to join their team based in the Essex area on a full-time, short-term basis.

Main Responsibilities
* Provide expert guidance on tank repair, decommissioning, and deconstruction to ensure on-site mechanical work meets the highest standards and complies with HSE, company standards, and specifications.
* Review repair worklists and engineering drawings and prepare technical and tender scopes of work to align with company specs and standards.
* Issue Scopes of Work according to company purchasing and planning procedures.
* Ensure Contractor QMSs are reviewed, approved, and implemented effectively.
* Prepare cost estimates to deliver the best value within budget constraints.
* Monitor costs to ensure they remain within the estimated range.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree in a related field such as Piping, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
* Previous experience as a Tank Specialist.
* Essential experience in decommissioning and deconstruction.

* Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
* Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent team building and collaboration skills.
