Integration Engineer
12 Month Contract – 37 hours per week
Based: Christchurch
Onsite Full time – Monday to Friday
Hourly rate: £44.74 PAYE or £57.84 per hour Inside IR35
Overview
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced and motivated Integration Engineer to join their established engineering team at our Christchurch site. Supporting a range of high-profile MoD programmes, you'll become part of a 45-strong team delivering a fully integrated Command & Control system used across multiple UK defence locations
Responsibilities
Building and configuring Windows Server 2025 and Windows 11 environments
Integrating and configuring both COTS and bespoke software solutions
Supporting deployment activities across virtual and physical platforms
Diagnosing and resolving issues within production environments
Producing high-quality technical documentation
Collaborating with engineers across multiple disciplines
Mentoring junior engineers and conducting peer reviews
Reporting progress and providing technical feedback to leadership
Occasionally travelling to customer sites for deployment, testing, and investigation support
Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of Windows Deployment Tools
Experience with Windows Server 2025 and Windows 11
Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
Experience using PowerShell for software installation and configuration
Understanding of modern software development and testing practices
Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation
Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
