Job Description
Please note, the work pattern for this post is as follows:
Monday to Thursday - 8am - 4pm. Friday - 8am - 1pm.
To provide an efficient and effective labouring service with the ability and skills to carryout all general labouring works involved within the Maintenance Service
The Operatives key functions include:
1. All types of general labouring duties
2. Driving Vans, Lorries, pick ups etc.
3. Assisting tradesmen e.g. Slater's and plumbers on roof work.
4. As a representative of the Maintenance Service the Operative will ensure the Council's values are promoted in every aspect of his work, with the remit to provide a seamless high quality response to the customers needs.
The Operative will demonstrate high personal and professional standards, especially in respect of quality and customer service.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and / or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council. Further guidance will follow in your conditional offer of employment on how to apply. Please note you will be required to pay for the cost of this application if your salary is over £38, per annum, which will be deducted from your first pay.
