We are working with a welcoming and inclusive Leeds primary school seeking a committed and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. About the Role:
As a KS1 Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
* Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment where every child feels safe and encouraged
* Support pupils with a range of needs, including SEND, EAL, and varying academic levels
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and fellow staff
* Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor and support progress
* Encourage strong relationships with parents and carers to support home learning
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* Experience teaching in KS1 or a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum
* A nurturing, inclusive teaching style with excellent classroom management skills
* Ability to differentiate lessons and meet individual pupil needs
* A collaborative approach to planning and a commitment to professional development
* ECTs are encouraged to apply – full support and mentoring will be provided
