The Faculty of Medicine is seeking to appoint a Project Administrator (Programme Development) to join the project team developing an exciting and innovative 4-year undergraduate Masters Science (MSci) in Medical Science & Innovation programme. The programme is designed to develop future leaders who can translate scientific discovery into real-world health impact.
You will assist and support the Project Manager with day-to-day project management activities and help monitor progress of the project plan to ensure a successful launch of the programme in October 2027 – within scope, on time, to the required quality and within the budget. You will build and maintain effective working relationships, collaboration and communication with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, including schools as part of our outreach activities. You will work collaboratively and pro-actively as part of a team, identity issues and and work with the project team in resolving them efficiently.
1. Educated to a minimum of A level standard or equivalent and/or professional experience related to the work of the post
2. Excellent organisation and time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads
3. Proven experience of supporting complex projects in a higher education, healthcare or public sector environment
4. Experience scheduling and coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and minutes and managing project documentation.
5. Experience in analysing project data and presenting insights clearly to inform decision making.
