About your role
Our core Delivery teams are organized into five capability areas: Fund Dealing & Brokerage, Transfers & Retirement, Client Account Management, Payments & Distribution, and Reconciliations & Product Management. These teams deliver outcomes across technology and operations, setting and managing strategic directions, maintaining capabilities, and supporting regulatory changes. The Operations Lead, Brokerage reports to the Capability Director, Fund Dealing & Brokerage, supporting our vision of providing world-class online investment and retirement solutions for individuals and families.
In this role you will:
* Work with the Capability Director to shape strategy and manage daily operations to meet SLAs and performance standards.
* Align BAU activities with broader business goals and strategic directions.
* Lead performance against KPIs, identifying process improvements.
* Implement operational efficiencies and service quality enhancements.
* Coordinate change resources with the Capability Director and product owners.
* Maintain stakeholder communication and manage operational risks and compliance.
* Act as the primary interface with GPS Distribution and Investor Servicing teams.
* Ensure excellent customer experience for internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Enhance the existing Operating Model for Brokerage in a global context.
* Develop the Brokerage Operations team’s training and competencies.
* Review processes and procedures regularly.
* Own the Brokerage Operations Risk and Control Self-Assessment.
* Manage operational controls to mitigate risks and errors.
* Set team goals aligned with global distribution objectives.
* Support project activities and change initiatives in an agile manner.
* Manage change agendas and participate in priority meetings.
* Prepare Brokerage Ops MI reports.
* Oversee KPI performance and service levels with Market Brokers and Custodians.
* Assist with sales pitches and commercial proposals.
* Represent Brokerage in external forums such as PIMFA.
