This world-class technology company is shaping the future of mobile connectivity, working on 4G, 5G and emerging 6G solutions for some of the biggest names in the industry. The team is looking for an Software Applications Engineer to support cutting-edge wireless products from development through to commercial launch.
You will work closely with design, software and customer engineering teams, solving complex technical challenges and providing expert on-site support to global device manufacturers and operators.
For this Applications Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:
* Experience in 4G, 5G or 6G systems and cellular standards (3GPP NR, LTE, 3G)
* Strong understanding of embedded software development, integration and debugging
* Familiarity with BSP fundamentals including clocks, interrupts and DDR
* Experience with modem log analysis and debugging tools
* Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to have:
* Knowledge of peripheral interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, USB)
* Experience supporting device manufacturers or network operators
* Ability to coordinate across multiple technical teams
This role is based onsite in Farnborough and involves semi-regular European and global travel. It’s an exciting opportunity to work on next-generation wireless technologies in collaboration with world-leading partners.
